Transcription

This Indenture made the twenty third day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four Between Daniel Reaves of the County of Wilkes and State of Georgia of the One part and Cornelious Keith of the County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Daniel Reaves for an (sic) inconsideration of the sum of one hundred pounds Sterling money to him in hand well and truly paid by the Cornelious Keith before the Sealing & Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said Daniel Reaves and himself fully satisfied and paid have granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell enfeof (sic) and confirm unto the said Cornelious Keith and to his heirs and Assigns forever, One certain Tract or parcel of Land in Wilkes County on the waters of Pistol Creek containing three hundred acres and bounded as followeth, to wit, Beginning at a corner B. Oak runing (sic) North seventy five East forty one Chs. To a pine, thence South twenty east, forty Chs. To a pine South twenty five West, forty one Chs. To a B. Oak, North Seventy West, fifty one Chs. To a B Oak, and North twenty East fifty Chains to the Beginning Together with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto Belonging or in any wise appertaining to the same and I the sd. Daniel Reaves being the true and Lawfull owner of the above bargained premises will warrant and forever defend the same to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Cornelious Keith and to his Heirs and Assigns forever In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above Written ~
