8 July 1799
“The Last Will & Testament of Thomas Mills Decd was produced in Court & proved by the oaths of Elizabeth Patton Matilda Hart & Donald Holmes Witnesses thereto & Ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of Martha Mills & John Mills Executors therein named who made oath a Certificate is granted them to obtain a probat thereon in due form upon their giving Security. Whereupon they together with Elijah Reeve & Israel Tully their Security Entered into and acknowledged bond in the Penalty of £1000 Conditioned as the Law directs.”

11 Nov 1799
“Upon the motion [of] John Oliver Ord that Robert Courtney, William Reeves, James Spencer & Eli Reeves or any three of them being first sworn do view and mark out the nearest and best way for a road from Flemingsburgh to the mouth of Fleming, and from thence to the mouth of Cassidys Creek. & make rep. &c.”

10 Mar 1800
"Ordered the way as viewed and marked out for a road from Flemingsburgh to the mouth of Fleming Creek be Established as a publick way Except at the plantation of Henry Smith where it is to be turned round by his plantation on the South Side. And that James McIntire be Appointed Overseer thereof from Flemingsburgh to John Burke’s. And that Wm Reeves be appointed Overseer thereof from John Burkes to Abel Finleys, & that James Graham be appointed Overs~ from Abel Finleys to the mouth of Fleming Creek, & that they have all the hands within one mile on each side thereof to work thereon under them."

11 May 1801
"William Shakleford & Eli Reeves Gent. recommended to his Excellency the Governor as proper persons to be added to the Commission of the peace in this cty."

(Note: The record for 13 July 1801 indicates that the governor had selected William Shakleford instead of Eli Reeves for the post.)

13 July 1801
p. 93 — "Ordered that Gideon Minor be appointed Overseer of the road instead of William Reeves from John Burkes to the East end of James Spencers lane. Hands to work under him 1½ mile on South & 1 mile on the North."

12 Jan 1802
"Ord that Asa Reeves, Eli Reeves, William Reeves & Wm English or any three of them being first sworn do appraise in Current Money the personal estate (& Slaves if any) of Joseph Ferguson decd & make rept &c."

10 May 1802
"Upon the Mo of James Spencer ord that Richd Moore, Geo Bishop, Ephraim Donovan, & William Reeve or any three &c do review & mark out a way to turn the road leading from Flemingsburgh to the Mouth of Fleming through the land of sd Spencer & make rept &c."

8 Nov 1802
"Ordered that Daniel Reeves have leave to turn the road leading leading (sic) from the Mouth of Foxes Creek, through his land a long the break so soon as he makes it as good as the present way."

"Ordered that Daniel Reeve be appointed Overseer of the road instead of Saml ?Harlite? same hands to work under him."

"Upon the motion of Spencer Reeve Ord. that Benjamin Northcott, John Rice, John Walton & James Crawford or any three of them being first sworn do view and mark out the nearest & best way for a road from the clover road near Robt McCallens to Elijah Reeves mill & from thence to Licking River opposite to squire Fosters in Montgomery County & make rept &c."
