In the name of God Amen the seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixI John Reeve of the Hamlet of Brentwood in the Parish of South Weald in the County of Essex farmer &c being of sound memory do make this my last Will and Testament at the same time revoking all others & former wills made by me declaring this to be my last Will and Testament
First I hereby bequeath to my loving wife Ann Reeve all my land & funeral property whatever during her life, and after her decease to be equally divided amongst her children lawfully begotten by me; & after their or any of their decease, or either of them, the said property to be equally divided amongst the survivors, and at the same time should they all happen to die without issue, it is my request that the said reall & personal property shall and his hereby bequeathed to Thomas Innous, her son by a former husband and I request that all my just debts should be paid as soon as convenient after my decease
Lastly I do appoint Mr. William Carter and Samuel Thorowgood Wheelrights both of the same parish join executors (with my wife the said Ann Reeve) of this my last Will and Testament to which I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred and six

Proved on the 18th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and six before the Revd T. Hewman Jur Clerk Surrogate &c by the oaths of Ann Reeve Widow of the Deceased and Executrix to whom Administration &c was granted she being first sworn duly to Administer power being reserved of making the like grant to Samuel Thorowgood the other executor when he shall lawfully apply for the same
