State of Georgia }This Indenture made the fifteenth day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred seven and in the thirty second year of the Independence of the United States of America Between David Scurry of the State aforesaid and County of Burke of the one part and Willis Brazeal and Joseph Reeves of the County and State aforesaid of the other Part. Witnesseth that the said David Scurry for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred dollars to him in hand aid by the said Williss Brazeal and Joseph Reeves at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have grantedm bargained sold, aliened, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell alien, release, convey & confirm unto the said Willis Brazeal & Joseph Reeves their heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land containing two hundred ten and a half acres situate, lying and being in sevententh District in County of Baldwin butting and bounding by Number Eighty five Ninety seven One Hundred and fifteen and Ninety five, which said tract of land was granted the said David Scurry by grant bearing date this Twenty first day of November in the year Eighteen hundred & seven. Know by number Ninety six, Together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances to the said tract of land being, belaying or in any wise appertaining & the (?) (?) rents issues and profits thereof & of every part thereof. To have and to hold the said tract of land & premises with appurtenances unto the said Willis Brazeal & Joseph Reves their heirs and assigns to the only proper use & benefit & behoof of the said Willis Brazeal & Joseph Reves their heirs and assigns forever, and the said David Scurry for himself & his heirs the said tract of land and premises unto the said Willis Brazeal & Joseph Reves their heirs and assigns against him the said David Scurry his heirs & against all & every other person or persons whatsoever shall & will warrant & forever defend by these presets.
In witness whereof the said David Scurry has hereunto set his hand and seal the day & date above written. Interlined before assigned in the twelfth line signed sealed & delivered in presence of

Personally came Me Thomas Spight & on oath saith that he saw the within named David Scury sign, seal, & deliver the within deed of conveyance to the within named Willis Brazeal & Joseph Reves for the purpose within mentioned & that he saw Henry Chane asign the same as a witness by making his mark together with himself. ? to the 28th December 1807.
