Transcript

This Indenture made this 15th Day of February in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten, between Robert Burton of the County of Granville and State of North Carolina of the one part, and John A. Reeves of the County of Campbell and State of Tennessee of the other part; Witnesseth that the said Robert Burton for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have and by these presents do bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said John A. Reeves his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres be the same more or less lying and being in the aforesaid County of Campbell on Indian Creek Richard Henderson and Companys powels valley part survey Lott P, being all the three eighth part of said lott conveyed by James Hogg to said Robert Burton except the tracts conveyed to Thomas Campbell Wm Barber Isaac Chrismon, and a tract sold to John Whitmon but not yet conveyed. Together with all and singular the woods waters and watercourses prfits and commodities hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever in fee simple to the said tract of land belonging or appertaining and the revision and reversions remainder and remainders, rents and issues thereof and all the estate right title interest property and demand of the said Robert Burton his heirs and assigns forever of in and to the same and every part or parcel thereof either in law or equity to have and to hold the said piece or parcel of land with its appurtenances unto the said John A Reeves, his heirs and assigns forever against every person or persons whatsoever will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
