This Indenture made and entered into this thirteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twelve between Elijah Reeves Senr and Peggy Reeves his wife of the State of Kentucky and county of Fleming of the one part and Elijah Reeves jr of the same place of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars crrent money of the state aforesaid to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge have bargained and sold unto the said Elijah Reeves jr a certain parcel of land lying and situate in the County aforesaid on Foxes Creek; whereon the sd Elijah Reeves senr is now living and bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning a linn standing on the west bank of Foxes creek in the line between the 10th & 11th lots of Mosbys 30,000 acres thence west with sd line to Spencer Reeves corner in said line thence with Spencer Reeves line southwardly to Foxes creek thence up the creek as it meanders to the beginning containing by survey one hundred and seventeen and an half be the same more or less the same to have and to hold with all the rights and appurtenances with every emolument thereunto belonging to the only proper use and benefit of the sd Elijah Reeves jr and his heirs forever and the said Elijah Reeves Senr with Peggy his wife do hereby covenant and agree with the said Elijah Reeves jr that they will forever warrant and defend the afsd parcel of land from themselves their heirs executors & administrators and assigns and from all and every person claiming or in any wise pretending to claim any right title claim or interest in or to the sd parcel forever; In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals this day and above written
