Lancaster District         } Know all men by these presents that I Edward Pigg of the State & District aforesaid for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge this day hath Bargained Sold & delivered & by these presents to Bargain Sell & deliver unto the said James Reves of the State & district aforesaid a certain tract or parcel of land, containing one hundred acres lying on the S. W. Corner of a Tract of land granted to Samuel Littleton for Six hundred & twenty Dollars nine acres, situate in aforesaid District on the Branch Waters of Bare Creek, Together with all and Singular of the Rights Titles members appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining - And the said Edward Pigg doth further bind himself his heirs & assigns forever warrant & defend the said one hundred acres to James Reves himself his heirs & assigns clear from the claim or claims from all manner of person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof - I witness whereof hath hereunto set my hand and seal - January the 30th day Adom. 1816 -

Lancaster District         } Come before me Burrell Clarke and made oath as the Law directs and saith that he saw Edward Pigg sign seal and deliver the within instrument of writing for to James Reves for the uses & purposes within mentioned and that he also saw James Shopshire assign his name as a subscribing witness to the same - Sworn to before me the 16th January 1817 -
