Deed of Conveyance, Stephen Reeves & his wife, Lemuel Reeves & his wife, Thos G. Stewart & his wife, James J. Reeves, Lewis Reeves & his wife, Samuel Ellwell & his wife, Zerviah Reeves, widow of Johnson Reeves, deceased, Release of Dower to Jacob Harsh
To all people to whom these presents shall come, Greeting. Know ye that whereas Johnson Reeves late of Hopewell Township in the county of Cumberland and State of New Jersey died seized of a certain tract of land in fee simple herein after mentioned and described situate in Warren township in the County of Trumbull and State of Ohio leaving Stephen Reeves, Lemuel Reeves, Sarah wife of Thomas G. Stewart, James J. Reeves, Lewis Reeves and Ann wife of Samuel Ellwel all of Warren in said county of Trumbull and State of Ohio being sixe of the children and heirs at law of the said Johnson Reeves deceased and each of the said children being seized of one undivided seventh part of said tract or lot of land as a good and indefeasible estate in fee simple and leaving Zerviah Reeves his widow a right of dower therein then of sd Hopewell Township but now of Warren aforesaid, Now know ye that we Stephen Reeves and Deborah Reeves wife of the said Stephen Reeves, Lemuel Reeves and Ann his wife, Thomas G. Stewart and Sarah his wife in right of the said Sarah, James J. Reeves, Lewis Reeves and Hannah his wife, Samuel Ellwel and Ann his wife in right of said Ann and Zerviah Reeves, widow as aforesaid for and in consideration of two hundred dollars received to our full satisfaction of Jacob Harsh of Warren in the County of Trumbull and State of Ohio, Do give grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto him the said Jacob Harsh, his heirs and assigns the following described tract or lot of land situate in warren or Town number four in the fourth range of Townships in the Connecticut western Reserve in the State of Ohio and which is also in the said County of Trumbull and is known by part of Lot number twenty one in said Township of Warren and is the same Land which Henry Lane and Ellse his wife by their deed dated the twentieth day of January Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seven & recorded in the Records of said Trumbull County in Book H pages 513 & 514) conveyed to the said Johnson Reeves now deceased and is bounded as follows, Beginning at a stone in the center of the State road, Thence by land now owned by Simon Perkins north sixty eight degrees east thirty four perches to a stone, thence by land of said Simon Perkins North two degrees west ten perches to a Post, thence by Lands of the said Henry Lane south sixty six degrees west seventeen pearches and six and one fourth links to a post, thence by land of the aforesaid Henry Lane, south seventy nine Degrees west eight perches to the center of the State road. Thence along the center of said State Road South forty two Degrees East Eighteen perches and one fourth links to the place of Beginning containing two acres and one hundred and forty nine perches be the same more or less reserving however for public use all the ground occupied within those bounds as aforesaid as established highway. To have and to hold the before granted bargained and described premises with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Jacob Harsh, his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoof, and also we the said Stephen Reeves, Lemuel Reeves, Thomas G Stewart and Sarah Stewart James J Reeves Lewis Reeves Samuel Ellwel and Ann Ellwell do for ourselves and our heirs executors and administrators covenant with the said Jacob Harsh his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing of these presents we are well seized of the premises as a good estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written and at the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever and we the said Stephen Reeves, Lemuel Reeves, Thomas G. Stewart and Sarah Stewart James J. Reeves Lewis Reeves Samuel Ellwel and Ann Ellwell do by these presents bind ourselves and our heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the said Jacob Harsh his heirs and assigns against all lawfull claims and demands whatsoever and furthermore we the said Zerviah Reeves, widow of the aforesaid Johnson Reeves deceased, Deborah Reeves wife of the said Stephen Reeves, Sarah Stewart wife of the said Thomas G Stewart, Ann Reeves wife of the said Lemuel Reeves, Hannah Reeves wife of the said Lewis Reeves and Ann Ellwel wife of the said Samuel Ellwel do hereby remise release and forever quit claim all right and title of dower in and to the above described premises.
In witness whereof we have hereunto at Warren aforesaid set our hands and seals the tenth day of May Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and nineteen.

Trumbull County } Warren Township May 10th AD 1819 Personally appeared James J. Reeves Zerviah Reeves & Lemuel Reeves, signers and sealers of the foregoing instrument and acknowledged the same to be their free act and deed - also personally appeared Ann Reeves wife of the said Lemuel Reeves signer and sealer of the foregoing instrument and having previously examined her separate and apart from her said husband and made known and explained to her the contents of the said instrument she acknowledged the same to be her free act and deed and that she executed the same without the fear of or coercion or compulsion of her said husband.

The State of Ohio } Warren Township Novr 23rd AD 1819
Tumbull County } Persoanlly appeared before me Stephen Reeves, Lewis Reeves, and Thomas G. Stewart signers and sealers of the foregoing instrument and acknowledged the same to be their free act and deed also personally appeared before me Deborah Reeves wife of the said Stephen, Hannah Reeves wife of the said Lewis, Sarah Stewart wife of the said Thomas G. Signers and Sealers of the aforesaid instrument, I having previously separate and apart from their respective husband examined the said Deborah, Hannah & Sarah and explained to each of the particularly the contents of said instrument. They respectively and severally acknowledged that they did of their own free will and accord without any fear of or coercion or compulsion from their respective husbands sign seal acknowledge and deliver the same as their free act and deed for the purposes therein expressed.
