This Indenture made this the Seventh day of March in the year or our Lord One thousand Eight hundred & Twenty one Between Thomas Reeves and William Saffold of the county Wilkes and State of Georgia of the one part and Wilson Whatley of the County of Walton and Said State of the other part.

Witnesseth that the aid Thomas Reeves and William Saffold for ad in consideration of the sum of six hundred and fifty dollars the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained, sold, and by these presents conveyed unto the said Wilson Whatley, and to his heirs and assigns forever, one certain tract or parcel of land containing to hundred and fifty acres, be the same more or less being known and distinguished by Lot number one hundred and forty, first district of Walton County drawn by and granted to Thomas Reeves of Wilkes County.

To have and to hold the said bargained land & premises with the appurtenances unto belonging, to warrant and defend the same and every part thereof against the claim of all persons whatsoever unto the said Wilson Whatley his heirs and assigns forever.

In Witness whereof the said Thomas Reeves and William Saffold have hereunto set their hand and affixed their seals the day and year first above written.
