All the residue and remainder of my estate real and personal I give and bequeath unto my said executors the Reverend Henry Perkins of Allentown and Abraham Vandervers, my sons in law in trust nevertheless to sell the same as soon as convenient after my decease either at public or private sale for the best price that can be obtained therefore and out of the proceeds of said sale it is my will and I do hereby order and direct that my said executors pay to my beloved wife Margaret the sum of two thousand dollars which said sum of two thousand dollars is to be exclusive of and in addition to the legacy of fifteen hundred dollars left to her by the last will and testament of her father Thomas Blackwell deceased which siad legacy I have not reduced into my possession and which will of course survive to her after my death: and it is also my will that my wife should have such articles of clothing and household furniture as belonged to her before she became my wife and which I do hereby except out of the personal estate bequeathed in trust as aforesaid to my said executors.
It is my will that the residue of the proceeds of the sale of my real and personal estate, after the payment of the said sum of two thousand dollars to my said wife be divided into three equal parts or shares one share of which I hereby bequeath to my daughter Phoebe the wife of Abraham VanDervere - one share to Eliza Ann the wife of the Reverend Henry Perkins - and the remaining share to my daughter Sarah.
It is my will that the provision herein made for my wife shall be in lieu of her dower.
I do hereby appoint the said Henry Perkins and Abraham VanDervere executors of this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me heretofore made.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this ninth day of June in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty four.
