Transcript

Know all men by these presents that I Willis Reeves of the County of Fayette and State of Tennessee have appointed my Brother and trusty friend Thomas Reeves of Orange County & State of North Carolina, as my Lawful Atrry to rent, lease, sell and convey all that tract and parcel of land belonging to me, lying and being in the County of Orange and State of North Carolina as described in the several deeds conveyance viz. one tract of one hundred & fifty acres conveyed to me by John Reeves, one hundred acres by David Lynch, one Hundred and twenty two and a half acres by Aaron Walker, making in all three Hundred and seventy two acres and a half lying on the waters of Buckhorn and Stags Creek. The said Thomas Reeves is hereby empowered to convey the above described lands and make a title to the same which title shall and may be as good and Lawful as I my self could do, were I personally present - And I do and will forever warrant and defend the title so made by him against all other claims whatsoever. And I do by these presents bind my heirs, executors and assigns. Nov. 29th 1834
