Georgia, Green County. Know all Men by these presents that I, David Geer of Georgia have sold & delivered unto Robert Halliburton three negro girls allotted to me by the Death of my Father Frederick Geer of Wake County N. Carolina for the full and valuable consideration of Nine hundred & Seventy Seven dollars to me in hand paid by the said Robert Halliburton the names of the negroes as follows, Mariah about thirteen or fourteen, Amy about Seven or Eight and Dice four or five years of age, the title to the above named negroes I warrant and defend to the said Robert Halliburton and his heirs forever against the lawful claim of all persons whatsoever - Given under my hand and seal this 14th of February 1841.
