TranscriptThis Indenture made and entered into bu and between Silas Reeves of the County of Brown and State of Illinois of the first part and Isaac Reeves of the County of Fleming and State of Kentucky of the second part, Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty five Dollars (ten dollars of which has been paid and the remainder fifteen dollars will be paid on the sealing and proper delivery hereof) by the party of the second part to wit Isaac Reeves to the party of the first part Silas Reeves) sells bargains and conveys and by these presents sells bargains & conveys unto the party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all the estate real personal and mixed which descended to the said party of the first part from his late father Spencer Reeves of Fleming County Kentucky which real estate lies in Fleming County Ky on the waters of Fox creek and also all the estate of what amount or kind soever which may be due to him the said party of the first part from the estate of his late Guardian Noah Reeves lately of (?) County Ly and also all the right title (?)the said party of the first part ma have in possession remainder or reversion in all lands assigned by way of Dower to Polly Reeves widow of the said late Spencer Reeves and all the right title and interest which the said party of the first part has in and to any estate real and personal or mixed descended to him from his late sister Betsey Parker Reeves late of Fleming County KY who was one of the heirs of the said late Spencer Reeves. To have and to hold the said estate real personal or mixed to him the said party of the second part Isaac Reeves his heirs and assigns executors or administrators forever. And the said Silas Reeves the party of the first part for himself his heirs executors or administrators doth and will forever warrant to the said Isaac Reeves his heirs assigns executors and administrators the said estate real personal or mixed thus conveyed. In testimony the sid party of the first part Silas Reeves has hereunto set his hand and seal this fourth day of August One thousand Eight hundred and forty five.

We Thomas Wilson and Spencer Louden acting Justices of the peace within and for said County do hereby certify that Silas Reeves of the County of Brown and State of Illinois whse signature appears to the foregoing deed of conveyance and who is personally known to us to be the identical whose name is subscribed to the said Deed as having executed the same this day personally appeared before us and he acknowledged that he had signed sealed and delivered the same as his free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein expressed.

Alexander Clerk of the County and State aforesaid do hereby certify that Thoams Wilson and Spencer Lowden Esqrs whose names appear to the foregoing and attached certificate was at the time of signing the same towit. On the 4th day of August 1845 acting Justices of the peace in and for said County duly elected commissioned and qualified and that as such full faith and credit should be given to all their official acts.
