This Indenture made and entered into this Twenty day of November in the year or our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and forty nine between Frederick Reeves of the County and State aforesaid of the one part and Henry D. Evans of the same place of the other part Witnesseth that the said Fredrick Reeves for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivering of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained granted Sold and do by these presents grant bargain and Sell unto the said Henry D. Evans all that lot or tract of land Situate in the County aforesaid known as the West half of lot Number one hundred & Seventy Eight in the Third District of said County containing one hundred and twenty five Acres more or less To have and to hold unto him the said Henry D. Evans his heirs and assigns and the said Fredrick Reeves for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators unto the said Henry D. Evans his heirs Executors & Administrators will warrant and forever defend the above described premises free form the Claim of himself his heirs & assigns and from the claim of all other person or persons whatsoever

In witness whereof the said Frederick Reeves hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the day and year above written
