Commentary

On the 1861 census (RG9, Piece 1792, Folio reverse, Page 44, Schedule 264) Mary Ann Rowland appears in a family context with HoH Joseph Rowland along with two daughters and a son. The GRO Index to Births entry for her son shows mother's maiden name as REEVES. Her relationship to Sophia and Daniel is presently unknown. It is not believed Sophia had a daughter named Mary Ann.
