Transcript

I have this day bargained and sold and do by these presents convey unto A. S. Reaves his heirs and assigns forever for the consideration of one hundred and five dollars to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged all the right title claim and interest which I have in and to a tract of land lying and being on the waters of Big Flat Creek in the County of Bedford containing by estimation one hundred and thirty acres more or less and bounded on the north by the lands of Lacy, on the east by the lands of Eve Burrow on the south by the lands of Pelhoile and Campbell and on the west by the Trecman tract it being the land which descended to the heirs of Archibald Reaves decd my interest in the same being the one eight part thereof I do further covenant and bind myself, my heirs & administrators to warrant and forever defend my title to the said land against the lawful claims of all persons whatever to the said Alexander S. Reaves his heirs and assigns forever. Witness my hand and seal this 5th day of May 1851
