        Brunswick County     } Be it Known that
I Winney Reaves of the county of Brunswick and State aforesaid, do hereby give Joel Reaves of the Same County and State aforesaid a Power of Attorney to execute my business both in hiring and collecting all monies due from my life estate, and to pay all just debts contracted by the Same, I also authorize the Same Said Joel Reaves for his trouble and expenses to apply all monies collections & notes over to his own use for his Services and the execution of my business while in life at or after my Decease
Whereunto I set my hand & seal this 27th day of March 1858 }
