County of Hancock
I Daniel Reeves, a farmer, of disposing mind & memory having about eight years ago made a will bequeathing to my son Noah Reeves at the death of myself & wife, Nancy Reeves, all of the property both Real & personal of which I might die seized of upon the condition that said Noah should live with us & provide for us comfortable support of myself & wife & family and pay to each of my other children therein named the sum of One hundred dollars & said Noah having failed & refused to provide for the necessary wants of myself & wife and failed to pay part of said children the 100$ and having paid 300$ my self to said children, & said Noah having treated me & his mother with neglect & in a cruel manner in abusive language to both of us, I destroyed said Will with my own hands. I hereby revoke said will & all other wills made or pretended to be made by me & make this my last Will & testament.
Item 1st. I will & bequeath that my dear wife Nancy shall have the use control & disposal of all personal property & the use and control of all Real Estate of which I may die seized during her natural life if she survives me.
Item 2nd. At the death of myself & my dear wife I will bequeath that my children shall inherit my Real & Personal Estate each one to have an equal share & the child or children of my sons or or daughter now dead or may die before the demise of myself or wife to inherit the fathers or mothers equal share except that I will that as my son Noah has received in personal property & rents of my farm all I intend him have of my estate he is not to share in the same after the death of myself & wife but my estate to be divided as aforesaid amongst my other heirs or their survivors as aforesaid. I appoint my dear brother Elijah Reeves as the Executor of this will.
Witness my hand & seal this 23rd day of January AD. 1874.

Be it Remembered. That on the 14th day of November AD 1876 Stephen McCray one of the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Will and Testament of Daniel Reeves, late of said County, deceased, personally appeared before Ephraim Marsh, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Hancock County in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the clerk of said Court upon his oath declared and testified as follows that is to say, that on the 23rd day of January AD. 1874, he saw the said Daniel Reeves sign his name to said instrument in writing as and for his last Will and Testament and that deponent at the same time heard the said Daniel Reeves declare the said instrument in writing to be his last Will and Testament, and that said instrument in writing was at the same time at the request of said Daniel Reeves, and with his consent attested and subscribed by the said Stephen McCray and Joseph Fort, in the presence of the said testator and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto and that said Daniel Reeves was at the time of signing and subscribing of the said instrument in writing as aforesaid of full age (that is more than twenty one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.
