In the name of the Benevolent Father of All

I Zadoc Reeve of Lost Creek Township VIgo County and State of Indiana do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament.

1st I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Lovici Chapin Holloway Eighteen acres and 6/100 of an acre in Sugar Creek Township, VIgo County Indiana, particularly described as follows.
the north west corner of North East quarter of Section 27 Town 12, North of Range 10 West 18 6/100 acres.

2 To my daughter Mary Reeve, I give, devise, and bequeath 18 (eighteen) of the homestead Farm, on which I now reside particularly described as follows: Eighteen acres off the North East corner of the west half, of the south qaurter of Section Seventeen, Township Twelve, North of Range eight West lying immediately North of the National Road including my present dwelling house, and designated on the plat accopanying this instrument, and hereby made a part thereof, as lot No 1, in Lost Creek Township, Vigo County Indiana

3d To my son George W. Reeve, I give bequeath and devise seventeen acres more or less, lying north of the National Road particularly described as follows: Seventeen acres more or less, off the North West Corner of the West half of the South East quarter of Section seventeen township twelve North of Range eight West, in said township County and State designated as Lot No 2 in the plat.

4 To my nephew Almond Reeve, I give, bequeath, and devise eleven acres lying immediately south of the National Road more particularly described as follows: Eleven acres more or less off the south west corner of the South East quarter of Section Seventeen, town twelve, North of Range eight West, being lot number 3, as laid down in the plat accompanying this isntrument, in said township county and State.

5 To my daughter Minerva Caltrin, I devise, bequeath and give, eighteen acres, lying immediately south of the National Road, particularly described as follows: twenty acres, more or less, denominated Lot No 4, South Middle Section on the plat accompanying this instrument off the South West half of the South East quarter of Section Seventeen, town twelve North of Range eight west in the town and State aforesaid.

6 To my son Hiram Reeve, I devise, bequeath and give sixteen teen (sic) acres more or less lying immediately South of the National road, more particularly described as follows: Fourteen acres more or less off the west half of the South East quarter of Section seventeen, town twelve, North of Range eight West, being the South East corner thereof and denominated in the plat accompanying this instrument as lot No 5 in said town County and State.

7 To the wife of William McNutt (a former wife of my son Daniel M Reeve deceased). I devise, bequeath and give, the sum of twenty five dollars.

8 To my Nephew Almond Reeve, I devise, bequeath and give, the sum of one hundred dollars.

9 To my five children namely: Lovice Chapin Holloway, Minerva Cottrin, Hiram Reeve, Mary Reeve and George W Reeve, I devise, bequeath and give, the sum of one thousand dollars, divided severally in equal proportions, should there be that amount on hand, after paying expenses of my last sickness and burial.

10 I hereby nominate and appoint Christopher W Brown executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby authorizing and empowering him to adjud? release and discharge, in such manner as he may seem proper, the debts and claims due me. I do also authorize and empower him, if it shall become necessary in order to pay my debts, to sell by private sale, or in such manner, upon such terms of credit, or otherwise as he may think proper all or any part of my real estate, to make deeds to purchase, to execute acknowledge and deliver in fee simple.

Peny S. Westfull, personally appeared before the Vigo Circuit Court, and being duly sworn says, that Zadoc Reeve signed his name to the above writing of date of 23d day of Oct 1883, as and for his last Will and that the same was attested and subscribed by said assistant and Ed P. Westfull, as witnesses thereto, in the presence of said testator, and by his request, and that said testator, declareed the same to be his last will, and that said testator, was not at the time of executing said will an informt?, or of unsound mind, or under coercion

Westfull, whose proofs together with such will have been duly recorded on page 461 of Record No 2 of wills in our office
