In Middlesex County, Virginia (location 5 on the adjacent map) was the large family headed by patriarch George Reeves of Lincolnshire in the United Kingdom. His four known sons were Thomas, Francis, George, and Charles. The map and above text both first appeared in May 2017 as part of post entitled "Early Reeves' Families in Colonial America" researched and written by Beverly for the blog Reeves, Reaves, and More Rives she co-authors and is included here with her permission.
There was no known connection between the family of George Reeves of Lincolnshire and that of Henry Reeves, Sr. of neighboring Essex County or any other Reeves' lineages in colonial America.
Middlesex probate records of the estates of Thomas, Francis or George, Jr. when he died in 1689 make no mention of any heirs left in America. The surviving brother Charles returned to England where he appears to have remained.

For example, Person Pages are not generally created for those who died in childhood.
Please review the individual person pages to see if further offspring are listed there.
If complete branches of this tree are missing, you should first contribute person pages for the missing individuals and then via your Mentor Team talk page ask for this page to be updated.
