Milledgeville Southern Recorder for Tuesday, December 26, 1854 and as contained in Vol IX p212 of Milledgeville, Georgia, Newspaper Clippings (Southern Recorder) by Ted Evans 1997 (Privately Published) which reads: "Georgia, Gwinnett County:
Bennett S. Freeman apply (sic applies) to me for letters of administration on the estate of Joseph S. Freeman, deceased. These are, therefore, to cite and admonish all and singular, the kindred and creditors of said deceased, to be and appear at my office within the time prescribed by law, to show cause, if any they have why said letters shall not be granted.
