Winchcombe, Gloucestershire
Location
Winchcombe is an ancient parish located in the north east of the county of
Gloucestershire. The market town of the same name lies in the south of the parish. Historically it is sometimes referred to as Winchcomb and also as Winchcomb(e) with Gretton.
It is approximately eight miles north east of
Cheltenham and
Evesham in Worcestershire is about ten miles to the north. The historic county town of
Gloucester is about fifteen miles to the south west.
