Narrative
When Charles Granison Latta, son of James M. Latta, registered for the World War I draft in August of 1918, he listed "Mack" Latta as his uncle and next-of-kin. James M. Latta had died in 1917 as had his wife Jennie before 1910.
Henry McCarver Latta lived in Collin County, Texas for approximately 30 years, from 1900 until after the death of his wife Minnie in 1930 but it appears that he may have returned to Arkansas after her death since that is where he is buried.
