Lineage is incorrect as established by DNA, i.e. (William, William, Timothy, Richard, John, Robert).

Burgess Reeves is listed with a son Burgess, born 1794; however his will of 6 Mar 1811 lists only these four children:

1. John Reeves
2. Mauldin Reeves
3. Leatha Reeves
4. William Reeves

The Burgess Reeves who was born c1794 in Pendleton District, SC is believed to be one of the eight sons of John Reeves who is recorded in the 1790 and 1800 census of Pendleton SC along with the elder Burgess Reeves.
