Narrative
Willie Reaves was born on April 30, 1922, in Birch Tree, Missouri, his father is Casbie Ancell and his mother is Viola or Ola. To many he was known as Bill. In the 1940 Census he lived in Cane Hill, Arkansas with his parents and siblings. There is a WWII draft card in 1942 for Willie at age 20 and shows his residence at Morrow, Arkansas and that he was self employed at the time. He was married to Naomi Pauline Cooper. They had one child during their marriage, a son. He lived Lincoln, Arkansas at time of death and had lived there for many years. He worked for roughly 10 years at the railroad company out of Idaho. He worked many years for the Campbell Soup production factory in Fayetteville, Arkansas were he retired from. He died on December 23, 1999, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried in Prairie Grove, Arkansas at Scott Cemetery.Research Notes
