Adaline was living with her brother William A. and sister Phebe Jane Reeve in 1850 and 1860. By 1860, Phebe had married Andrew J. Gale who was listed as head of household.

Adaline wrote her will on 8 Jan 1864 and it was probated on 10 Dec 1866. She mentions "my brother Daniel L. Reeve" and "my sister Phebe Jane Gale, wife of Andrew J. Gale,"
