On the 1841 Census Emma is one year old living in Stoke (by Clare), Suffolk her parents and sister Maria (3). HoH William Reeve. Also resident were her Uncle Hayden Reeve(20), Betsy Wadley (14) and Sarah Man (17).

On the 1861 Census the family is enumerated with the surname REASE (sic), and are living in Paraman Street, Stoke (by Clare), Suffolk. HoH William Reeve. Emmer (sic Emma 22) is working as a Crape Weaver. Also resident were her sisters Elizabeth (21) with her son Edward (1), Louisa (14) and Emma's daughter Rhoda (1).

On the 1871 Census Emma is 30 and living on Hunsdon Lane, Hunsdon Hertfordshire with her husband and children Rhoda (10), Jane (7), Thomas (5) William (4) and Emma (7 months).

On the 1891 Census Emma is recorded as 48 and living at 11 Egans Street, Camberwell, London with her husband and children Thomas (25), William (22) Emma (30) George (11), Milly (7) and Maud (5).

On the 1901 Census Emma is recorded as 62, widowed and living at 9 Egans Street, Camberwell with her sons Thomas (34) and George (21).

Emma died Q3 1935 in Deptford, Kent she was 95 years old.
