An extended obituary or remembrance article published in the Rutland Herald Online contains interesting biographical details on Franklin Reeve. Franklin was a poet and novelist who was Robert Frost's translator on a trip to the former Soviet Union. It states: "He taught Russian and Slavic languages at Columbia, Wesleyan, Yale, Oxford and Connecticut College. In 1962, he accompanied Frost to the former USSR, introduced him to Russian poets and translated Frost’s dialogue with Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev.
