On the 1851 England Census George was 51 years old and living in Cavendish, Suffolk with his wife Mary (37) and his sons George (7) and John (4). Also resident were Mary Pettwell (15) noted as daughter in Law and William Pettwell (9) noted as son in law. The census states he was born in Belchamp St. Paul, Essex.

In 1861, George was age 59, mistakenly listed as born in Cavendish where he was living. With him were wife Mary (47), and sons William (19), John (14), and George (9).

In 1871, George was still in Cavendish, age 70, with wife Mary (58) and step-son William Pettwell (30).

George Reeve died in 1878, registered in Sudbury, Suffolk.
