In 1841, Samuel was in Cavendish, Suffolk, age 67, living in the household of John (35) and Fanny (28) Brockwell. Emma Brockwell (13 mo) and Sarah Reeve (13) were with them.

In 1851, Samuel was still in Cavendish, age 80, born in Belchamp St Paul, living with the Brockwells. In the household werer John (46) and Fanny (36) Brockwell, their children Emma (10), Elizabeth (6), Sarah (4), and Martha (1), along with Samuel's daughter Sarah (23).

In 1861, Samuel was in Cavendish, age 90, born in Belchamp, Essex. With his was daughter Sarah (31), born in Cavendish.

Suffolk Baptisms show that Sarah Reeve, daughter of Samuel and Sarah Reeve, was baptized at Cavendish 25 Dec 1827. This fits well with Samuel's daughter Sarah listed on the census. Susannah and Charlotte were also baptized there.

Suffolk Marriages show that John Brockwell was married to Frances Reeve on 23 Jan 1829 in Cavendish. This fits well with the Brockwell family whom Samuel and Sarah were living with in Cavendish. The census states Fanny was born in Belchamp St. Paul.
