Isaac's marriage record states his parents were "Jonis" and Caroline Reeves. Based on marriage dates, it would appear his mother was Hannah W. Johnson. He is named as a son of Jonas W. Reeve in an 1871 deed.

In 1930 and 1940, he was living with his daughter and son-in-law Carrie E. and Robert W. Gutleber.

Isaac Lewis Reeve
Basking Ridge - Isaac Lewis Reeve, 96, died last night (July 16, 1945) at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Gutleber, with whom he resided in Cedar St. Mr. Reeve had long been ill.
Born in Chatham, he had lived here about 40 years. He was a retired carpenter, a member of Victor Council, Jr. OUAM.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 tomorrow at the Garrabrant Funeral Home in S. Maple Ave. Dr. J. Merion Kadyk, pastor of the Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
