Jeffery was living in Newburgh, New York in 1790. Based on the 1790 census, he may have had three sons and one daughter.
On 23 Sep 1794, Fanny Reeve, widow of "Jiffery Reeve late of the Town of Newburgh in the County of Ulster deceased" gained administration on his estate. The widow, Selah Reeve Jr., and David Howell all of Newburgh held bond.
Fanny was listed in a Newburgh tax assessment roll for 1801 along with Joseph Reeves, Selah Reeve, Katurah Reeve, and Benjamin S. Reeve. She was rated for $900 real estate.
Fanny was listed in Newburgh in the 1810 census with a male 16-25 and girl under 10 in the household.
Research Notes
There is a deed which Fanny was involved in in 1820 in which she and Robert H. Reeve and his wife Eliza Ann sold some land to Benjamin Carpenter. The same day, Jeffery and Sophia Reeve sold some land to Robert H. Reeve. It's likely that Jeffery and Robert H. were children of Jeffery and Fanny. The name seems to have been more commonly spelled Jeffery.
