Narrative

John wrote his will on 15 Apr 1811 and it was proved on 20 May of the same year. He names his wife Jemima and grandsons John Reeve Junr and Stephen Reeve. Presumably therefore he had a son named John who was the father of both of these individuals, but that needs more investigation.

In a deed from 1812, the widow Jemima and the two grandsons sold the land they had inherited from John. Nancy, the wife of the grandson John signed the deed as well.
