This Stephen lived in Morris County, New Jersey and is named as a grandson of John Reeve who died there in 1811 in the elder John's will and an heirs deed from 1812. Since the other grandson is referred to as John Jr. it may be possible that Stephen was his brother and son of a John Reeve.
