Joshua is described as of Greenwich on his Quaker marriage Certificate.
By 1802, he had moved to Philadelphia, at which time, he and his siblings executed an heirs deed from their father Benjamin's land. They were back in Burlington by 1805 when he and Amelia executed some deeds as heirs of her father Caleb Carr. In one of the deeds she is named both Amelia and Millicent.
Mount Holly Monthly Meeting Men's Minutes include a removal notice from meeting dated 9 May 1805:
A certificate of removal was granted in favour of Joshua Reeve and Milicent his wife with their three infant children Hannah Reeve Samuel Carr Reeve and Elen Reeve to Concord Monthly Meeting in the State of Ohio; Signed by the Meeting at Large
