The marriage is also recorded in the Salmon records but the first part of the line was apparently unreadable:

• 1749 .. .. ......Gardiner & Mary Reeve

The will of Mary's mother Mary Hudson Reeve mentions son-in-law John Gardiner. This matches will with the above marriage record.

She was buried at Mattituk Pres. The headstone reads: "In Memory of/Mrs Mary Gardi/ner Wife of Mr/John Gardiner/who departed/this life/Novr 12th 1781/in the 51st year/of her age." Her husband died in 1795.
