There is a marriage bond dated 21 Oct 1856 from the Diocese of London for Charles Frederic Fenton of West Hackney, of 21 or upward and Mary Frances Reeve of District Chapelry of Christ Church Highbury of 21 or upwards.

In 1901, Mary Fenton was age 72, living in Colchester St. Mary at the Walls with servant Jane Leisey (29).

From the National Probate Calendar, 1903:
FENTON Mary Frances of 112 Maldon-road Colchester widow died 16 January 1903 Probate London 27 February to Edwin Fenton gentleman Effects £331 0s. 1d.

Records of Removal of Graves and Tombstones shows that Mary Frances Fenton had a headstone removed in 1962 from the cemetery on Mersea Rd, Colchester. The record states she died 16th Jan. 1903.
