- Mr Nathanael Reeve Rectr of Twinsted & Mary Ewer were maried December the 31st 1685
- 1687 July 1st was baptized John son of Nath: Reeve & Mary his wife
- Novembr 17th 1688 Was Baptized Mary da of Nathanael Reeve, curate; & of Mary his wife, born Friday ye 16th
- December ye 3d 1690 Was baptized Anne, da of Nathanail Reeve, curate & of Mary his wife
- 1699 April 6th was Buried ye body of Nathanael Reeve, Rectr of Twinsted April 6 1699
In 1699, "John Reeve aged eleven years and upwards Mary Reeve aged about ten years and Anne Reeve aged eight years ye nrall and lawfull children of Nathaniel Reeve late Rector of Twinstead in ye county of Essex but dying a widower at Ingatestone in ye said county" appointed as guardian their grandfather John Edward Cooke to be their guardian. But later it refers to "John Ewer our Grandfather." The record also refers to "James Reeve Rector of Chignell St James in the said County our cousin ?...". It's not clear exactly what the relationship is to James.

REEVE, NATHAN. Adm. sizai at St Catharine's, Apr. 26, 1671. Matric. 1674; B.A. 1674-5- R- of Twinstead, Essex, 1679-99. Married Mary, dau. of John Ewer, R. of Ingatestone, Essex, 1685. Buried there, 1699. Will, Cons. C. London. (J. Ch. Smith.)
