Children of Robert Reeve and Mary Addoms/Adams:
  1. Phebe M Reeve, b. 2 Jul 1800
  2. John A Reeve, b. c1801
  3. Simon Rumsey Reeve, b. 17 Mar 1805

  5. Charles L. T. Reeve, b. c1816
  6. Charlotte M. Reeve, b. c1820, m. Hugh Jones

Widow Reeve died on 1 Oct 1854 according to her headstone and letters of administration granted on her estate in Fulton County, Illinois. She is buried in the Weaver Cemetery in Fulton County. Her headstone reads: "In Memory/of/Mary/Wife of/Robert Reeve/died/Oct. 1. 1854/Aged/75 yrs 6 ms."

Letters of Administration for the estate of Mary Reeve were granted to Isaac Weaver.

The probate documents for Mary lists amounts for the following heirs who all received $57.41: John A Reeve, Hugh Jones, Charles Mitchell, Harriet C Weaver, Chas L. T. Reeve, Simon R Reeve, Phebe M Foster.

There are various receipts where the above heirs mention pension money which they were due from the government per a pension which Mary Reeve had. Phebe M. Foster, John A. Reeve, Charles L. T. Reeve, received 1/7th of the pension and each stated they "agree to pay to my sister Sarah Ann" if called for. Isaac Weaver received the share of Hugh Jones as his guardian. Charles Mitchel's seventh went to "my aunt Sarah Ann." Simon R. Reeve received his seventh but didn't designate it.

The following are the words of daughter Phebe published in one of her obituaries:
I was born in Plattsburgh, state of New York, July 2d, 1800. Joined the Methodist church when twelve years old. Removed with my parents to New Lexington, Indiana, in 1817, where I was married to Elias Foster, May 20th, 1819. Removed to Canton, Illinois in 1825, where my husband died June 20th, 1835.

Canton, Illinois is in Fulton County, Illinois where the family settled. New Lexington, Indiana, where they were previous, was located in Jefferson County. According to Indiana marriage records, Phebe was married in Clark County, Indiana in 1819, which is located adjacent to Jefferson County. The fact that she "removed with my parents" to Indiana in 1817 indicates Robert was still living at the time.

Robert and John A. Reeve are listed next to each other in the 1820 census in Scott County, Indiana which is adjacent both to Jefferson and Clark counties.

Phebe stated she was born in Plattsburgh, New York. This is in Clinton County where Robert and Polly are found in deed records. In 1816, they sold land adjacent to land formerly owned by Simon Rumsey Reeve. Given that Simon, Robert, and his brother Simon all had dealings in Clinton County, New York during this time, this must be Robert the son of Simon Rumsey Reeve named in his will.

Simon Sr's family was connected to the Adams/Addoms family of New York. The Revolutionary War Pension Record of John Addoms of New York contains a family Bible with the following entry:
Robbert Reeve and Mary Addoms were married 12th of Novr 1797
