The will of her father John mentions "my daughter Sophia Willett the wife of John Willett of Barking."
From the Great Ilford, St Mary the Virgin, Essex Parish Register:
- (1846) Sep 10th. John Willett, full age, Bachelor Linen Draper of Barking son of Robert Willett Linen Draper to Sophia Reeve, age 20, spinster of Great Ilford, daughter of John Reeve Innkeeper.
In 1851, the Willetts were living in Barking, Essex. The household is made up of: John Willett (25) born in Braintree, Essex, wife Sophia (24) born in Stratford, Essex, daughter Sophia (3), son John (2), and assistants Henry Woore (23), Charles Port (26), James Drape (24), apprentice Samuel Pyrke (14), and servants Mary Meldune (13) and Elizabeth Reed (15).
Sophia and her husband are buried in St. Margaret of Antioch Churchyard, Barking. According to the notes on Findagrave, the stones read:
