He died 1 December 1682 according to an Inventory of his Estate presented in a Court of Sessions in Southampton, New York.
According to that Inventory, his widow was Agnes Rider.
The widow appears to be listed as Ann Reeve in the 1686 census of Southold, with 1 male and 2 females in the household.
The widow appears to be listed in her own household as "Annis Reeve widdow" in the 1698 census of Southold.

There are several Thomas Reeve's in the small town of Southold, New York in this time period. This Thomas Reeve who died in 1682 and was married to Agnes Rider was most likely the son of Reeve_Thomas_4206. Of primary evidence is a 1686 land record and related map which shows the late Reeve_Thomas_4206’s home lot being now divided and occupied by Reeve_Thomas_4206’s son John Reeve, and by "Annes" Reeve, widow of Thomas Reeve the subject of this TRP person page.
