The Alumni Cantabrigienses (Cambridge Alumni) includes the following about him:REEVE, THOMAS. Adm. sizar (age 16) at Caius, June 30, 1610. S. of Thomas, husbandman, of Langley, Norfolk. School, Moulton (Mr Matchett). Matric. 1610; Scholar, 1610-4; B.A. 1613-4; M.A. 1617; B.D. 1624; D.D. 1660. Ord. priest (Norwich) June 19, 1614. R. of Colby and Alby (or Aldborough) by Aylsham, Norfolk, 1628-43, ejected. Suffered great persecution. Imprisoned at the Gatehouse, Westminster for three years. Obtained a reversal of his sequestration in 1652. Restored, 1660. R. of St Vigor's, Fulbourn, Cambs., 1661. V. of West Waltham, Essex, c. 1664. Author, religious. Died at Waltham Abbey. The Essex Archives owns a copy of a sermon Thomas preached in 1661 entitled "A cedar's sad and solemn fall. Delivered in a sermon at the parish church of Waltham Abbey in Essex. By Thomas Reeve DD, preacher of God's Word there." The text was Zechariah 2:2.
