Walter James Reeve died at his home on route one Tuesday following a long illness. Mr. Reeve was born in England on September 16, 1844, and had been a resident of Oregon for 24 years. He was a member of the Episcopal church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Edith Reeve of Eugene and Mrs. Anna Campbell of Delta, Colo.; and two sons Frank Reeve of Eugene and Charles Reeve of Iowa.
Veatch chapel will announce the funeral arrangements later.

Walter is buried in the Eugene Pioneer Cemetery in Lane County, Oregon.
