From a notice published in the New-Jersey Journal, 8 Feb 1797:
By John Cetwood, Esquire, one of the Justices of the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
NOTICE is hereby given, that upon application to me by Norris Baker, and Martha his wife; David Hand, and Rachel his wife; and Watts Reeves, and Louis his wife; which said Martha, Rachel, and Louis are three of the daughters of James Campbell, Esquire, lately deceased...


In 1809, Watts Reeve of Springfield sold the land he lived on inherited by the Last Will and Testament of his father to his brother William Reeve of Union in Essex County.

Records of First Presbyterian Church contain a burial entry with the following details:
Isaac Watts Reeve Senr, age 55, died of Bilions Fever, buried 30 Jul 1821

Centinel Of Freedom, 31 Jul 1821
At Springfield, on Sunday last, Mr. Watts Reeves, aged about 50 years.

His wife's headstone reads: "In memory of Lois/Widow of Watts Reeve/who died January 1, 1853/aged 86 years."

Newark Daily Advertiser 3 Jan 1853
At Springfield, on the 1st inst., LOIS, widow of Watts Reeve, in the 87th year of her age.

Research Notes

There was an Isaac W. Reeve whose estate was administered in 1825. It mentions "property at widow Lois Reeve." He was buried on 6 Dec 1825 according to First Presbyterian Church records. This is likely his son Jr.
