Birth registrations for Sarah through Emily give mother's surnames as variably Parsk, Risk, Pass, and Pask. This, added to the fact that the eldest two were born at Thurrock, matches well with the marriage of William Reeve to Mary Pask at Little Thurrock.

Note that the marriage record states that William was living in Wennington at the time.

In 1851, William was listed as age 32, born in Suffolk, living in Orsett, Essex with wife Mary (40), children William (12), Sarah A. (10), Mary A. (7), Samuel I. (5) and James (5m) along with lodgers Samuel Eve (37), John Ardley (24), and John Triff (20).

In 1861, he was listed as age 50, born in Suffolk, living in Orsett, with wife Mary, children Samuel Isaac (15), James (10), and Emily (7) along with lodgers James Beckwith (35) and John Radley (31).

In 1871, he was listed as age 60, no birth place given, living in Orsett with wife Mary (60) and daughter Emily (16), along with lodgers Michael Hour (35), Jeremiah Hill (44), Henry King (19), and Abraham Kemp (23).

William's death was registered in 2q 1873 in Orsett Registration District, age 62.
