The 1764 will of William states that he was of Bulmer in Essex and names children Edmund, William, Mary Howard, Susanna, grandson John Hale, son-in-law John Hale his wife Sarah (presumably daughter of William). He mentions his wife but doesn't name her. John and Sarah Hale were executor and executrix. The probate states that William died 14 Jun 1766 and Sarah Hale died "last November" which would be 1765.

Research Notes

Daughter Susanna is probably the one who had a daughter named Mary baptized 1 May 1757 and a son Edmund baptized 26 Jul 1766, both at Bulmer. She may be the Susan who was buried at Bulmer 7 Jul 1802.
