Narrative

Abner at one time lived in Johnstown, Montgomery County, New York.

John Matthews of Johnstown left a will recorded in Fulton dated 1800 which names "my daughter Susan Reeves the wife of Abner Reeves."

Abner was listed in tax assessments 1800-1803 in Johnstown.

In 1808, Abner and Susanna sold some land to Daniel McMartin.

In 1813, Thomas and Margaret Reeves of Johnstown, New York sold some land "being conveyed by the will of John Mathews deceased to Susannah Reeves & this conveyance is to include that lot." In an 1815 deed, they sold some land excepting a certain part that had been conveyed earlier by Abner and Susanna Reeves. It is likely therefore that Thomas was a son of Abner.
