Research Notes
Johnstown, New York was in Montgomery County prior to 1838 when Fulton County was formed. There was an Abner Reaves there in 1810 whom online trees suggest is Thomas's father. John Matthews of Johnstown left a will recorded in Fulton dated 1800 which names "my daughter Susan Reeves the wife of Abner Reeves."Sources
