Research Notes

In a Mason County deed from 1812, a Benjamin Reeves of Fleming County sold his portion of Samuel Reeves's estate land to Benjamin Reeves Jr. of Mason County, Kentucky. Benjamin of Fleming would appear to be this Benjamin, brother to Samuel.

There is a Benjamin Reeves who is listed in the 1820 and 1830 census records in Fleming County. That may be this Benjamin. However, Elijah Reeves who died in Fleming County had a son Benjamin who was still living in Fleming County as late as 1817 per a deed.
