Narrative

Charles is the fourth of seven known children of William REEVES and his wife Jane (nee HIGGINS). His birth was registered during the March quarter of 1868 in the East Ashford Registration District when his mother's maiden name was noted as Higgins. The 1939 Register notes his birth was in early December 1867.

FreeBMD notes the marriage of Charles Richard REEVES and Mary PULLEN during the first quarter of 1893 is the East Ashford Registration District. The known children of Charles Richard Reeves and Mary (nee Pullen) are

The births of their first two children were registered in the East Ashford (Kent) Registration District, and the latter five births in either Southampton (Hampshire) or the adjacent South Stoneham (also Hampshire) Registration District. All seven entries show the mother's maiden name as PULLEN.

It is highly likely that his is the death noted by FreeBMD during the second quarter of 1949 in the Southampton Registration District, age 81. He is commemorated on the page for 18 May within the Online Book of Remembrance for Southampton Crematorium.
